Outfitters
are people that give others experiences and adventures in the
wilderness that they would not normally get. It is the safe
way to have fun in rafting, fishing trips, backpacking, horse
back riding, snowmobile, etc. They are experienced in the field
and is the way for a novice or beginner to go and have fun safely.

Hot Springs
are thermally heated water from the ground rich in minerals.
In downtown Pagosa there are the Pagosa Springs or Healing Springs.
The Native Americans of the area gave the name to the springs
which translates literally as hot water springs. They used them
for the therapeutic value. Try them while you are here. (Click

Pagosa
Fairfield, which is directly 3 miles west of downtown Pagosa
Springs, has a 27 hole golf course. It is inner twined among
the many residential houses in the area and can provide an entire
day a challenge and fun for you golf lovers out there. (Click

The Recreation
Center is located in Fairfield Pagosa also known as the Pagosa
Lakes area. It has weight room two racquetball courts, Olympic
size swimming pool, large Jacuzzi pool, and locker rooms for
both men and women. There are also five tennis courts and miniature
golf course located by the Pagosa Lodge. |

There
are two major forests near Pagosa Springs, the San Juan National
Forest and Weminuche Wilderness Area. They covers over 3 million
acres of forest, Continental Divide, rivers and lakes. |

Wolf Creek
is our ski area which is 25 miles from Pagosa Springs 28 miles
from Fairfield Resort.
It has over 1500 feet vertical ski area, with three high speed
triple chair and two double chairs lifts. |
